I am a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design and a recent graduate with a DIPSBA form the Society of Botanical Art. My current work focuses on what is the life behind the everyday. I love seeing my work go from concepts in my head to paper and finally to print on just about everything! Between my travels and working in a pre-school for seven years, I have learned how a few images can allow a person to express themselves without the need of vocalization. I prefer a softer rendering of realistic and organic forms to conceptualize valued emotions and memories. Human nature dictates us to share our likes, dislikes, things, and ideas. When we talk to others we naturally collect those and turn it into a part of our history. I just give that process a physical representation.
Many cultures tell their life story through their choice of adornment, so I create the same idea for the environment we live in. I allow the body and eyes to become the storyteller, not the mouth.
